Phonics: Our letter this week will be t as in tent. We will be working on identifying beginning sounds, compound words, and consonant blends.
Language Arts: Our stories this week are In the Dark, Dark Wood and Johnny Appleseed. Our new sight words this week are in and up. We will learn new vocabulary words cupboard, shelf, and woods. We will also learn what is a tall tale. Finally, we will do some writing using our name.
Math: We are finishing up Unit 15 with a short assessment and starting Unit 16 which will include composing, comparing, and analyzing shapes.
Religion: Our class will have the Vocations Cross this week, so we will be learning about vocations and listening and praying about what God might be calling us to do as we grow up. Please let me know if you have a religious in your family. We would love to pray for them this week!
