Coaching at Magdalen

We encourage anyone who has any interest in either being a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for any of our sports teams to apply. You can be a parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle. We will even take into consideration a high school or college age sibling as long as they are working with an adult head coach.

Coaches must reapply every year to be considered.

To facilitate the selection and assignment of coaches for each season, we do ask all applications be turned in by the following deadlines:

• July 1 - Fall Sports (Cross Country, Volleyball, Cheer Squad, Football)
• September 1 - Winter Sports (Basketball)
• February 1 - Spring Sports (Track)

Coaching Requirements:

• Virtus Training
• Current CSAL Coaching Card (New ones being issued do not expire)
• CPR Training - which can be obtained through a class offered by Nurse Carla later this summer and in the fall
