April Updates

This is the last month I will be at school! Baby is due April 23rd. Whether he/she makes her appearance or not, I am going to start maternity leave on April 21st. While I am out, Claire Nasch (Benedictine grad) will be my long term sub. She has wonderful experience and will be teaching in our diocese next year. I am so excited to have her finish out the year for me!

Grade Details

6th Grade: Finishing up their study of the prophets. They will work through their "Family Life" books regarding what our human dignity is and how to honor it. They will end the year with a character analysis over an Old Testament character. This will be an in class project.

7th Grade: Finishing up their study of the Sacraments. They are becoming familiar with the details and meaning of each Sacrament. They will then work through their "Family Life" books regarding what our human dignity is and how to honor it. They will end the year with a Scripture study over Acts of the Apostles to get them ready for next year when they cover Church History.

8th Grade: Finishing up their study of how to witness to the Church. They are also studying Theology of the Body as taught by Pope St. John Paul II. They will end the year by writing an essay over which virtue they believe will be the most important to build upon and utilize throughout high school.
