Conferences are Thursday, March 13th- I am looking forward to meeting with everyone!
Spring Break is March 14-21, enjoy the extra time with your family!
This month we start off with talking about Lent, we are discussing what happens this time of year and preparing our Hearts for Easter.
We will also discuss St. Patrick and why many celebrate his feast day.
This month we are continuing our letter work with lowercase letters; writing them and matching them up with their uppercase partner. We are continuing our rhyming practice and beginning sounds in phonics.
In math we are continuing with addition and introducing subtraction skills.

Our Zoo field trip will be Friday, May 2nd

Kindergarten Round Up will be Friday, May 16th
A couple reminders:
-Fall brings cooler temps in the morning, please remember to send a jacket or coat everyday-we go outside early!
-Please only send CLEAR water bottles to school, filled with water only.
This month we are talking a lot about what it means to be thankful and what we are thankful for.
We will also learn about the First Thanksgiving and how the Native Americans helped the Pilgrims by teaching them how to plant crops.
Remember, we are out of school November 25-29 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Looking ahead to December:
We will talk a lot about the birth of Jesus, the Holy Family, and Christmas traditions. Pre-K will get to participate in the school wide Christmas around the world activities put on by our middle school students.
2nd quarter ends Dec 20th. I will be conducting assessments similar to what you saw for 1st quarter. Progress reports will go home before break.
