April & May Art
It's hard to believe it's already April! To finish off the school year. each grade level from 1st through 5th will be creating an American themed art project to recognize and celebrate the USA's 250th birthday this year! Kindergarten will be drawing and coloring chameleons.
All grade levels will put their portfolios together with all of the artwork they have been creating this year. Look for those portfolios to come home in the last week or two of school.
I hope you all enjoy a safe summer filled with fun and relaxation!

October Art
This month there will be a variety of Halloween art projects made by K-4 students including pumpkins, ghosts, haunted houses, monsters, mummies, and scarecrows! Each of these projects will focus on different art elements such as shape, texture, line, and space. Fifth grade will be working on a Matisse floral collage followed by a tessellation project.
