Welcome to Art Class!

I hope everyone enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer and that your students are ready to return! Throughout the year, with each project students complete, we will always refer to the seven elements of art as well as some of the principles of art. We will incorporate faith and learn about a few famous artists along the way. Here is what each grade level will begin the new school year working on in art.

Kindergarten/1st grade - Learn about, review, and practice making different kinds of lines, and review the color wheel

2nd grade - Directed drawing of school supplies followed by a Fall printmaking project

3rd grade - Fall leaf watercolor resist reviewing warm and cool colors

4th grade - Line landscapes

5th grade - Graffiti name design
