What is the Resource Room?
The Resource Room is a classroom where students with educational specific exceptionalities are given direct and specialized instruction, academic remediations and assistance with classroom work and assignments in individual or group settings. The Resource Room also focuses on students staying in the classroom through aides and Resource Room teacher assistance.
Why have the Resource Room?
Education instructors in the Resource Room focus on particular goals specified by an ILP or requested by the classroom teachers and parents. The Resource Room is an effective delivery model to offer supportive instruction and build academic skills.
