Come join us for our annual Parish Festival on Saturday, October 10, following the 4:30 pm Mass. The Festival will be in the fields behind the school, and parishioners of all ages are invited to come enjoy food, music, and fellowship with family and friends. You don’t want to miss out on the fun, so add this to your calendar and save the date!
The Parish Festival features fun for all ages, so bring the whole family! Kids will enjoy full access to the playground and fields, while there is plenty of outdoor seating for adults to spend quality time catching up with friends in the picnic area. The young and young at heart can take advantage of unlimited visits to our Fun Tent for face painting and balloon art, staffed by industry professionals, and adults (21+) can enjoy a cold beverage in our dedicated Beer Garden operated by the Kapaun’s Men. Everything at the Parish Festival is free of charge.
Don’t miss out on any of our food options! Grab a hot dog and chips, or sample finger foods from the Vietnamese buffet. All food is free, donated by the Vietnamese Community, Knights of Columbus, and Altar Society.

Here's how it works!
1. Get Tokens: Head to the main tent to grab your voting tokens.
2. Taste: Enjoy each of this year’s entires!
3. Vote by 6:30pm: Vote for your favorite(s) by placing your tokens into the jars of your favorite teams. You may cast three votes in each category, distributed as you see fit among your favorite teams. Each category uses a unique voting token, so be sure to vote using the correct token; votes cast using the wrong token will not be counted! Voting ends promptly at 6:30, so make sure to do your tasting before then.
4. Winners announced! Don’t head home yet! The Cook-Off results will be announced live at 7:00pm, with both a champion and a runner up named in each category.
As the Cook-Off wraps up and the sun begins to set, you may notice the smell of popcorn in the air… join us for our fourth annual movie night on the turf field. Grab a blanket and popcorn, popped fresh on site, and settle in for a family-friendly classic.

How do I find the Festival grounds? The Festival is located in the fields behind the school at Church of the Magdalen. When the 4:30pm Mass ends, simply walk around the outside of the Church, on the path between the adoration chapel and the rectory, or follow the crowd!
Is there parking available? Parking is available in the regular church or school lots, but the road behind the church will be closed to vehicles starting at 4:00pm to set up for the Festival. The parking spots behind the church near the fields are reserved for Festival staff and those with mobility impairments.
Is the Festival Wheelchair Accessible? The Festival takes place in the fields behind the church, and is mostly flat and open. With the exception of some speed bumps in the paved areas and even patches in the grass, all locations should be easily accessed by a wheelchair.
Do I need a ticket? You do not need a ticket to enter the Festival, and everything at the Festival is free!
Where are the restrooms? Restrooms are available in the concession stand near the entrance to the Festival grounds.
Are there age restrictions at the Festival? The Parish Festival is family-friendly and open to all parishioners of all ages. The only exception to this is the Beer Garden, which is restricted to persons aged 21 and up.
Do I need to bring my own chair? You are welcome to bring folding chairs or a picnic blanket for your family. However, there is usually ample seating in the picnic area.
Are pets allowed at the Parish Festival? With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed at the Festival.
