We made it to September and the kids are doing such a great job. We have a pretty busy month ahead of our 8th graders. Please look for extra information to be coming home.

We will begin our Confirmation classes this month. These will be held every Wednesday morning from 8:00-8:40. They will be led by the 3 priests, teachers, and focus missionaries. The Confirmation Mass will be held on November 3.

Our big 8th grade retreat is coming!! The girls will be attending September 23rd and 24th. The boys will attend September 25th ad 26th. All of the paperwork should have been emailed to you. Please return that to the office or myself. I am so excited for this retreat. I think the kids are going to have a great faith-filled time.

We made it to September! The kids have done a great job with transitioning to the middle school. It can definitely be a challenge but they are champs. 

We have begun with learning about the divisions of the Old Testament and will go starting with Abraham this month. The students take notes on what we are learning almost every day. If they ever need any clarification on notes, I am always in the classroom by 7:15 every morning.

Hello! My name is Tiffany Cohlmia and I am thrilled to be teaching Middle School Religion! This is a big year for our 8th graders. We will be focusing on church history. We will also spend time working on the religious aspect portion of the culminating project. The 8th graders get the wonderful opportunity to volunteer once a month at the Lords Diner. Please ask your student for the details of how they can do this. If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I am so excited to get this year started!

Hello! My name is Tiffany Cohlmia and I am thrilled to be teaching Middle School Religion! This year in 7th grade we will be focusing on the New Testament. The students will all receive a workbook, Bible, and DRT study guide. They will need to bring all of these to class everyday. The 7th grade class will also have lessons in Theology of the Body. Hello and happy 2nd semester!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and are ready to begin the 2nd semester. We will continue working on the New Testament. We will start with the sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Matrimony. We will be having prayer tests every Wednesday in January. The students will take this very important test on May 9th. The students will take the test on laptops during Religion class. The kids are well prepared and I know they will do great!

The students have their own workbooks and should have brought home 2 handouts for the series. One is a parents guide and the other is a Human Reproduction handout. We ask that you go over that material with your child before Theology of the Body in 7th grade.
