Gian Carlo Menotti's beloved epiphany opera will return for it's 30th anniversary production to the Opera Kansas stage. The visit of the three kings to the humble home of Amahl and his mother that changes their lives will be brought to life on the Epiphany feast day of January 6, 2019.

This performance will feature Katelyn Mattson Levy as Amahl's Mother, Justin Petersen as Kaspar, Benjamin Winters as Melchior, Steve Kimball as Balthazar and 13 year old boy soprano Noah Sickman as Amahl. The orchestra will be conducted by Kenneth Tysick and features many of the best instrumentalists in the area.
