Service

Members of a stewardship parish are ready to minister to the various needs of their own parish family as well as the needs of the wider community. It is important that a stewardship parish recognize the need to help all who may be suffering but also take time to celebrate special events in their lives as well as the successes of the their parish family. Parishioners seek the parish family as a primary community to serve and to be served - to give and to receive. Reflect on what service the parish has provided to you and your family and then look for new ways that you can give back their kindness.

Dillon's Gift Cards

Gift Cards for area Dillon’s grocery stores are available to all parishioners at all Sunday masses and at the parish and school office. The sale of these cards generates income for the parish by returning 5% of every dollar spent and work just like cash. This is a great moneymaker with no extra cost to our parishioners. Gift cards may be used to purchase food items, gasoline and prescriptions. A small group of people is also needed to sell the certificates after all the masses.

Landscape Committee

The objective of this committee is to develop and implement a long term vision of the landscape and grounds surrounding the church and school. Some members prefer to be on the paper and planning side, some prefer to be on the shovel and hoe side, while most prefer to do some of both.  Meetings are held quarterly or more often if needed.

Snow Removal

This is a dual need for both the church and the school. Assistance is needed in clearing snow from sidewalks around the school and church early in the mornings after a nighttime snow. Help is also needed to clear sidewalks around the church when it snows on weekends. A strong back, healthy heart, and good intentions are all that is required.
