Only four weeks left until the end of the school year. While this is sad and exciting and the same time, it is just around the corner. To finish up the school year we have many learning and fun things still to come. Here is what we will be doing in May.
May 1st & 3rd We will be learning all about Zoo animals and the letter Zz. We will be making Animal cages out of Gram Crackers, licorice, animal cookies and frosting (yummy). We will also be learning all about why Zebras have stripes. I will not be here Thursday May 3rd, my daughter will be attending Kindergarten Round up at St. John's in Bartlesville Oklahoma! It is becoming my new reality!
May 8th & 10th we will be studying about pond life. This will be exciting, we made some pretty cute frog t-shirts to go on our special trip to the Great Plains Nature center Thursday the 10th of May, We can't wait to actually see and learn all about pond life!
May 15th & 17th we will be taking a "pretend" camping trip! We will be making real S'mores and then craft S'mores and of course we will need binoculars to see all the neat things on our hiking/camping trip:)
May 22nd is our last day of school! I can hardly believe how very fast this school year has gone. We will be having field day activities and a picnic (snack)!
I just want to take a minute to thank every little person in my classroom for filling my heart with lots of laughter and joy! I will always remember each and everyone of you. I have loved teaching in the Wichita Diocese for the past 11 years and look forward to what God has in store for me in years to come! I will always be a teacher, if not in a classroom with my own children. Remember that you as a parent are your child's first teachers, you are the most important teacher in their lives! Thank you for welcoming me to Magdalen Catholic School, I had an incredible year, not only because of my little angels in my class, but also because of the spectacular parent support!
Thank you again and God bless.
