Due to Totus Tuus, the 8:00am weekday Mass will be moved to 11:30am from July 9-July 13.

Due to the Independence Day holiday, Magdalen will have the anointing of the sick directly following the Wednesday, June 27 Mass. It is the sacrament that is received by those who are ill or suffering. By the sacred anointing and the prayer of the priest, the whole Church commends those who are sick to Christ. The sick person receives the Holy Spirit’s gifts of strength, faith, peace, and courage, and his or her suffering is united with the suffering of Christ for the building up of the Church.

As many of you know, we lost Rose Schumacher as she went to be with our Lord. Rose started making jeans quilts 10 years ago, and 5 years ago we started the Jeans Quilt Ministry at Magdalen. We are continuing this ministry and would welcome anyone who would like to join us the third Monday of the month in the Marian Room from 8:30am-noon. If you have any questions, please contact Sherrill Ebben at 316-209-0809.

Adult volunteers needed to assist with Totus Tuus.  Please contact Erin Nowicki 316-990-8786 for details.

We also are in need of Parish families to house our Totus Tuus Leaders July 7th-13th. There are two teams this year so we are needing to house 4 young women and 4 young men. Also we are needing Parish volunteers to provide dinner in your home for the Totus Tuus leaders. If you would like to assist us in these needs or have any questions, please contact Erin or Steve Nowicki at 316-990-8786 or 316-990-8782.
