Classroom Basket Themes
Preschool: will have 2 baskets “Little Girls, Little Girls” & “Oh Boy!” (anything little girls/little boys like! Toys, Barbies, cars, legos, etc.)
Pre-Kindergarten: “Quiet Time” (puzzles, books, music, wooden toys, crafts, anything that would be a quiet activity)
Miss Sheahon’s Kindergarten: “Weekend for Mom” (spa, restaurant, shopping gift certificates, anything mom might want to do on a weekend just for her)
Mrs. Shepherd’s Kindergarten: “Summertime Fun” (beach towels, sunscreen, balls, anything for the outdoors)
1A: “Just for Dad” (golf certificates, cigars, fishing stuff, tools, etc.)
1B: “Fiesta, Mexican Cooking” (salsas, dips, terra cotta bowls, margarita mix and glasses, chili peppers, etc.)
2A: “Religious Articles” (gift certificate to Catholic bookstore, rosary, crosses, Bible, anything religious)
2B: “Magdalen Spirit” (Magdalen spirit wear, hair bows, school supplies, etc)
3A: “Handyman”(maid services, tool box, tools, interior decorating, vacuum, home improvement store gift cards, etc)
3B: “Let’s Eat Out!” (gift certificates to various restaurants)
4A: “It’s A Date!” (dinner gift card, movie passes, hotel stay, wine, glasses, flowers gift certificate)
4B: “Sports Fanatic” (basketball, football, baseballs, hats, bats, nets, rackets, etc.)
5A: “Let’s get Physical” (anything to do with exercise)
5B: “In the Kitchen” (anything for the kitchen, for baking or cooking)
6th grade: “You scream, we all scream for Ice Cream” (ice cream maker, toppings, bowls, ice scream scoop, gift cards to ice cream shops)
7th grade: “Coffee and Chocolate Lovers” (coffee pot or press, specialty coffees, syrups, mugs, and ANYTHING chocolate!)
8th grade: “All that Bling” (jewelry, purses, anything with bling)
PSR: “Go Team” (Wichita State, KU, KSU paraphernalia)
