The Altar Society is an organization committed to the needs of the parish, to Christian fellowship, and to the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Some activities include the annual Bazaar, funeral dinners, and wedding receptions. The Altar Society meets in the Parish Hall at 6:00pm on the 1st Monday of each month September through May (excluding November and January). All adult ladies of the parish are invited to attend.

This 39th annual parish event is a great opportunity for parishioners to work together to put on one of the most popular Arts & Crafts Festivals in the area. Its success depends on the volunteer efforts of the entire parish. Proceeds from the Bazaar support the altar and other parish needs. Minimum age 10.
Funeral Dinners - Mary Ann Pustka - (316) 778-1078
The Magdalen Funeral Luncheon Ministry offers families food and fellowship following funeral Masses. Set up and clean up minimum age 13.
Wedding Receptions - Connie Rudd - (316) 683-4474
The Altar Society can be hired to assist with receptions; additionally they have items that may be borrowed or rented (such as tablecloths). Volunteers are needed to assist with cake cutting, and clean up of dishes, as well as to help wash linens after receptions.
