Updated June 8th,
2009 Road construction is
underway on
21st Street to widen it to 5 lanes from K-96 to 159 Street East.
The south lane has been removed and replaced with
the first layer of asphalt. From Founders Circle to 127th Street the
north lane has been removed and the base layer of asphalt has been
installed. The small west entrance into Magdalen's parking lot is
complete and will be open this week. The larger, center drive will be
closed the week of June 15 for driveway construction and will reopen for the
weekend of June 20th and 21st.
The east lane of 127th is still under
construction but traffic flows well on the completed two west lanes. Please continue to check this website for
updated information as it is available. Projected completion date for
street work is November 2009. Sidewalk and landscape work is projected
to take until June of 2010. |
