Kristin Schmitz

I am excited to be joining the Magdalen staff to teach Middle School Language Arts  I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, with specialties in Language Arts and Social Sciences.  Additionally, I received a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Wichita State.  After teaching English at Goddard Middle School for 7 years, I was the Principal at St. Patrick, Kingman, for 6 years.  With four young children, I have enjoyed being at home the last three years, but with our youngest entering school, I couldn't resist the chance to teach again.  In returning to the classroom, I am getting the opportunity to teach my favorite age group and my favorite subject at my favorite Catholic school.  My husband, Kevin, and I have four children, all of whom attend Magdalen.  We have been members of the Parish since 2005.  In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, watching sports, volunteering at school, and e-mailing friends and family.
