Knights of Columbus
was
founded by Father Michael
McGivney, in New Haven, CT, in order to care for
Catholic widows and orphans. At that time, in 1882,
Catholics were often excluded from eligibility for
commercial insurance programs. Today, the Knights of
Columbus is one of the 5 strongest life insurance
companies in the country. We have the best whole life
products on the market. We also offer estate planning,
Term Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance and
Annuities.
The revenue from our insurance programs actually funds
the vast majority of the charitable efforts of our
Supreme Council.
There are many good Catholics who are also insurance
agents with other companies. I, myself, have worked
for several other companies. In all that time, I have
never met a widow who got mad at me for selling her
